Farm Bill 2024 Update. We’re sharing an important update on the farm bill and its potential impact on food assistance programs. The farm bill has once again expired, as a yearlong extension of the massive agricultural spending package ended on monday night without congressional action.

Department of agriculture this month, net farm income is expected to decline 4.1% for 2024 after falling 19.4% in 2023 from the record. Over $3 billion was estimated to go to the state’s farmers in addition to the farm bill, $122 million to repair johnson space center and $950 million to repair the state’s roads.
